Fox Sports Fantasy Football

Fox Sports offers a very comprehensive fantasy football option, with lots of choices for your next public or private fantasy football league.

Fox Sports (via their FoxSports.com web site) re-entered the fantasy football biz in 2006 with a well-done, and completely free, system.  Players can join a standard public league or join (or create) a custom private league.  Virtual commissioners can set the number of teams, number of divisions, player pool (NFL, NFC, or AFC) and all the usual choices for adds/drops and trades.  Everybody gets free live scoring and you can even track your team using MSN Messenger.

The draft room for Fox Sports Fantasy Football is a pretty good one.  It gives you easy access to the NFL player stats for the previous season and keeps the player bye weeks in view.  The only problem we saw was that the "breakdown" list of players you've picked by position was, well, broken down.  The numbers weren't accurate, but a minor problem and something you should be able to figure out with a quick look at your list of drafted players.  On the "totally useless but kinda fun" side: The "mascot builder" lets you create a mascot logo for your team using a variety of cartoony animals.  Fun but silly.
